As brother and sister, we have a lot in common — but what's unique about us is that we've each spent the majority of our professional careers serving Central Florida homeowners. Carrie in mortgage, title, and real estate; Derrick in residential construction and remodeling.
In 2020, we decided we could best serve local homeowners by providing quality roof replacement and repair at affordable prices. At Certified Best Roofing, our top priority is serving you. We take pride in offering superior roofing services and reasonable prices to our Central Florida community. Our mission is to create lasting relationships with each of our customers by treating them like family.

Carrie Moreau
Co-Founder & CEO Extraordinaire
Carrie is a woman of determination — once she sets her mind to something, she accomplishes it. She's never afraid to do the hard things to get there, whether it's training for triathlons or chasing down a permit. She cares about the details.
Carrie launched Certified Best Roofing with her brother Derrick because she's passionate about her community and wants everyone to feel safe and happy in their homes. She brings 25 years of entrepreneurship and project management to the table, and makes sure every detail is looked after and every job is done right.
Carrie has been married to her husband John for over 23 years. They have five children. She loves being an entrepreneur, but her favorite role will always be "Honey" to her four grand-princesses.
Derrick Vittitow
Co-Founder, President & Licensed Roofing Contractor
Derrick has more construction experience than professionals in the industry twice his age — it's possible, we've done the math. He has extensive knowledge of home construction, from the foundation to the roof and everything in between. He's loyal, hardworking, and the guy you want in your corner when walking through the process of getting a new roof or working with your insurance company.
Derrick launched Certified Best Roofing with his sister Carrie because he wanted to give the community a roofing contractor they can count on.
When Derrick isn't on a roof, you'll find him spending time with his wife Ashley and their four kids in Geneva. They enjoy gardening and raising a variety of animals on their small farm.
